Research & Technology development

The CMAGTRES group focuses on the development and application of novel drone-based systems for magnetic mapping in relation to UXO, archaeology, volcanic systems and raw materials. This includes both hardware and software development. However, we also carry out fundamental paleomagnetic and geodynamic (Arctic) research, developing and integrating other sensor systems (like EM and LiDar), and we are doing dedicated computational studies such as probabilistic inversion of magnetic data for improved UXO detection. In short, we conduct research on a wide range of topics (see below).
